Winter Capital joins Learn Capital in Udemy Series F Investment Round

March 24, 2021 – Winter Capital expanded its edtech portfolio in Q4 of 2020 by joining in the Series F investment round for Udemy alongside Learn Capital and other notable firms. Udemy is the largest global marketplace for learning and teaching online. The capital raised will enable the company to continue growing its consumer and business product offerings to serve the world’s students, organizations, and instructors.
Education technology (EdTech) is among Winter Capital’s key investment verticals. Last year, the firm acquired a share in SkyEng, one of Europe’s largest online education platforms. Earlier this year, Winter Capital also invested in the international school of mathematics and programming Algorithmics. The funds plan to continue investing in the global education market, which is projected to grow rapidly from its current estimated value of $10 trillion.
